Social Program

Networking is a central part of the conference experience.

The program includes several informal gatherings designed to encourage open discussions between partners, system integrators, operators and RACOM experts.

The conference begins with an informal dinner, allowing participants to meet before the main sessions start.

On the first conference day, the afternoon program in Mělník transitions into a rotating social experience, where participants in groups will explore the town, its historic castle and local landmarks in small groups.

Activities include:

  • Guided tour of Lobkowicz Chateau including a visit to the owner’s private terrace with a stunning view of the confluence of the rivers
  • A visit to the medieval castle cellars including a tasting of wines still produced in these cellars today
  • Short walk through the historic center of Mělník, including a visit to the ossuary in the Church of St. Peter and Paul, one of the oldest churches in Bohemia. The 16th-century ossuary contains the bones of 10,000 people who died during plague epidemics.
  • A tour of the 13th-century medieval underground passages beneath the square, which served as a refuge during fires or times of war
  • Coffee and informal networking in the castle restaurant and patisserie

The evening concludes with a gala dinner at Chateau Liblice featuring demonstrations of historical fencing duels, and offering a relaxed environment for deeper conversations and new connections.

Wine Cellar Tour & Wine Tasting

Wine has been part of the Mělník region’s culture for centuries.

The slopes around the town have been cultivated with vineyards since the early Middle Ages, and the region later became an important center of Bohemian winemaking supported by the Lobkowicz family.

During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to visit the historic wine cellars beneath Lobkowicz Chateau and taste local wines produced from the surrounding vineyards.

The chateau winery cultivates vineyards around Mělník and produces several traditional varieties, continuing a winemaking tradition that dates back hundreds of years.

The tasting experience offers a relaxed setting to discover regional wines while continuing conversations started during the conference sessions.

Of course, we also cater to those who do not drink alcohol, for whom non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Networking Gala Dinner

The conference evening continues with a gala dinner at Chateau Liblice, bringing all participants together after the first conference day.

The historic baroque setting provides an ideal backdrop for informal networking among partners, engineers and industry experts.

The dinner is designed to encourage conversation and exchange of ideas beyond formal presentations — often the place where new collaborations and projects begin.

Participants will enjoy regional cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere and the unique environment of the chateau.

The evening program will also feature a surprise in the form of a demonstration of historical fencing duels in period costumes.

Bring your Family!

We warmly welcome you to attend the conference together with your partner or family members. Accompanying persons are invited to join the social program and will also find a wide range of attractive activities to enjoy during the conference sessions.

At Chateau Liblice, they can relax in the wellness facilities or explore the surrounding countryside. The region offers many interesting destinations, including the historic Kokořín Castle, located in the heart of a protected natural landscape, ideal for short or longer walks in typical Czech nature.

Nearby is Mount Říp, a place of great significance in Czech history, traditionally associated with the arrival of the first Czech settlers. At its summit stands a Romanesque rotunda, adding to the site’s unique historical character. At its foothills lies the town of Roudnice nad Labem, known for its castle and charming atmosphere. And of course, the city of Prague is just 30 minutes away, offering countless cultural and sightseeing opportunities.

Upon request, we will be happy to arrange a tailored program for accompanying persons based on their preferences.
